I have been working in higher education since 2013, serving in roles at institutions including Ross University School of Medicine, Stevens Institute of Technology, and Virginia Tech. My passion for higher education began as an undergraduate at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where I worked in student affairs and discovered the transformative impact of student support and engagement.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2011, majoring in Psychology and Latin American Civilization Studies with a minor in Spanish. I later completed a master’s degree in Project Management, strengthening my ability to lead strategic initiatives and institutional projects. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education at Virginia Tech, where my work continues to center on advancing student success and institutional effectiveness.
I remain actively engaged with my alma mater, serving on the Board of the Latino Alumni Association of Rutgers University, where I support alumni engagement and advocate for the Latino community.
