Jen Topp is a student affairs professional with over 14 years of experience in international
education, leadership development, academic and career advising, experiential learning, and
recruitment. She considers it a privilege to support students during such a pivotal time in their
lives.
Before higher ed, Jen trained and worked as a pastry chef, even running her own kosher catering
business. She often reminds students that life rarely moves in a straight line—and that staying
open to new experiences can lead to unexpected joy.
Outside of work, Jen is usually in the garden, deep in a novel set in the UK, or dreaming up her
next trip to Scotland—a place stamped in her passport, and etched in her heart as home.
