Omar Correa was appointed Vice President for Enrollment Management at the University of St. Thomas in July of 2022. He has nearly 30 years of service in higher education and has worked at both private and public institutions. He earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Iowa State University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration with an emphasis in Enrollment Management from Capella University. He is working on his doctorate degree, in Medical Education Research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In his role, Omar is responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic and responsive enrollment management plan and leading the enrollment division. He has led several areas of Enrollment Management and has also been responsible for many years of record enrollment in multiple institutions, establishing short- and long-term goals and initiatives for the division. Omar is an active member and has held leadership positions in professional associations such as NACAC, NAFSA, AACRAO, and College Board. He is a passionate presenter on topics such as strategic enrollment management, international, minority, and Caribbean recruitment, technology in enrollment, and more. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Aimee, and their three children.
