Stevie Otto is a graduate enrollment management professional at Southern Methodist University, where she partners with academic departments across the institution to support graduate recruitment, admissions operations, and enrollment strategy for master’s and doctoral programs. Her work focuses on building efficient admissions processes, strengthening recruitment pipelines, and improving the prospective student experience from initial inquiry through enrollment.
Since joining SMU in 2018, Stevie has played an important role in shaping graduate admissions operations and was part of the founding team that helped launch the Moody School of Graduate and Advanced Studies in 2020. In this role, she collaborates closely with faculty, program administrators, and university leadership to develop processes and systems that support both institutional goals and student success.
Stevie brings more than a decade of experience in higher education, with a professional background spanning academic advising, admissions, recruitment, and enrollment marketing. Before joining SMU, she served as Assistant Director of Admissions and Outreach for the College of Visual and Performing Arts at George Mason University. She holds degrees from Southwestern University and the University of Iowa and is passionate about creating more effective and accessible pathways to graduate education.
