Dr. Naronda Wright embarked on her journey in higher education in 2007, initially taking on the role of an administrative specialist at Georgia Southern University. Over the span of nearly 16 years, she has been deeply immersed in the realm of graduate education. Naronda's profound interest in graduate admissions and enrollment management blossomed during her tenure as a Graduate Admissions Coordinator at Georgia Southern University.
In her most recent role, she serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Student Services at Georgia Southern University and prior to that as Director of Graduate Admissions at Augusta University. Beyond her institutional commitments, Naronda is actively involved in NAGAP, focusing on NAGAP's mission that revolves around fostering excellence and collaboration in Graduate Enrollment Management through education, research, and professional development. Dr. Wright has played pivotal roles at both the regional chapter (SEAGAP) and the national board, contributing notably as Conference Chair, Secretary, Vice-President and currently President. Her involvement extends to the annual conference committee and the diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.
