Dr. Sabrina L. Brown is the Director of Graduate Recruitment at UNC Charlotte, where she leads institution-wide strategies that strengthen graduate enrollment, support student success, and foster collaboration across academic and student affairs units. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education, her work centers on sustainable Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) models, cross-functional partnership, and data-informed decision-making.
A proud alumna of UNC Charlotte, Dr. Brown holds a B.A. in English, an M.Ed. in Counselor Education: Student Affairs from Clemson University, an MBA from Tennessee Technological University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Tennessee State University. Her professional practice bridges enrollment strategy with student-centered systems, emphasizing access, clarity, and shared responsibility across campus stakeholders.
Dr. Brown is actively involved in the National Association for Graduate Enrollment Management and serves as board secretary for the Youth Development Initiative, Inc. in Charlotte,NC. Her work reflects a deep commitment to collaboration, mentorship, and building institutional structures that expand opportunity pathways and strengthen the student experience.
In her free time, Sabrina enjoys traveling, attending live events, and spending time with family, friends, and her cat, Riley.
