Eythan Schiller is a Program Officer in the Office of American Spaces and Educational Advising, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), where he works on the EducationUSA program. Prior to this, he worked in the Office of Global Educational Programs where he managed the Humphrey Fellowship Program, and also worked in ECA's Office of the U.S. Speaker Program and the Professional Fellows Division managing short-term professional exchanges. Before joining the State Department, Eythan worked for IREX, the International Research and Exchanges Board, in Washington, D.C. and Turkmenistan managing several academic exchange programs for students, teachers, and professionals from Eurasia. Eythan also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Azerbaijan from 2003-2005 as a teacher in a state middle school.
